I know I go to the video store and almost every time I bring the movie back late. I go to rent a movie the next time and I am punished for bringing the previous box o'entertainment back tardy.
I believe that if they can do this to me, why can't I put in a late fee clause for all those who deal with me. For instance...
I file my tax return on time, but the money comes months later. In this day and age it should come within say.. a week perhaps? Therefore I believe i should be able to charge the government interest or late fees. They charge me if my return is late.
And this brings me to why I am talking about this at this time. It all started with a wasted trip to EB to get my copy of Assassins Creed. A game I have been waiting for for about 2 years. I get there and the girl quite rudely (assuming she had more than just me come in and ask her for this game and she was sick of it) tells me that it wont be out until the 15th, two days away. Shouldn't I get a discount for them being late? Its not my fault they could not keep a promise. If we are late with something at work it costs us money. /grumble
Two more days.....!!!! I felt like Cartman in the Nintendo Wii ep of Southpark. I want to freeze myself and get the two days over with.
But apparently cryogenics is not a reliable science just yet. "The Man" says I could die from freezing myself... which would make it forever until I get to play the game... So with the cons out weighting the pros I decided to sleep on it and sulk. Which BTW is not as fun as playing the game.../grumble.
So now today is the 15th of November, AC day... I decided not to hold my breath but dammit if I don't have excitement in my chest fluttering around like a chicken with no head.
I swear if I don't get out of the office at 5, and go to EB, and pick up Assassins Creed, and KILL SOMEBODY! I will be very unhappy tomorrow.
VERY!
