Jusarious the Barbarian!

This was a busy long weekend. I worked on the house a bit and did many other things. But mostly it was new game weekend. Age of Conan was prerelease on Saturday….evening. It is Conan. Plain and simple. Barbaric, whoring, violent, hack and slash fun. I really enjoyed it thus far (played to level 21). I am not a fan of zoning though, in a world of open concept games where you can go anywhere you want I find myself missing the dynamic of this factor. An example of this is going to a person to “transport” you via invisible cart to the next area. While the area your in is huge I still miss being able to hop on a boat or fly to my next destination without a zone line.

But I picked me up a couple of whores and did the horizontal waltz… ok I didn’t nor have I found out if that exists at all. But there are women called whores. I can only hope for some sort of colourful action in this game. It will help the parents keep their kids off of the game.

I have not experienced much about this game yet. I do know it’s better than what I have tried so far. We will see how the guild dynamic works. (Ex. guild towns, wars, raiding etc.)
